The route begins atΒ Villa Olmo, an imposing neoclassical villa not far from the center of theΒ city of ComoΒ and surrounded by a large park.

From Villa Olmo, cross theΒ Chilometro della Conoscenza bridge, which allows you to cross the carriageable Via per Cernobbio. After a short stretch of tree-lined path, stairs lead to theΒ Grumello bridge, after which the path continues downhill to the right.

Continuing along the path you will encounter other points of interest, such as the villa’sΒ dockyard, a charming newly restoredΒ chapel, and a beautifulΒ cloisterΒ overlooking the lake.

The route ends in theΒ park of Villa Sucota, with its greenhousesΒ andΒ lemon house.Β Note: this part of the route is open only on Sundays.

From here you can go back by retracing the same route or along the alternative paths through the park of Villa del Grumello.

2. Villa del Grumello, the villa located at the heart of the Chilometro della Conoscenza and organizing cultural and artistic events,Β creative workshops,Β private eventsΒ and more.
